Join us for our second annual Touching Greatness weekend. If you were with us last year you know what an amazing transformation we experienced. We laughed, we cried, we sang, we danced, we left grateful and changed.

We have a wonderful conference planned again this year and you won't want to miss it. A wonderful line up of speakers includes: Mary Morrissey, Dr. Judith Orloff, Dannion Brinkley, Rev. Karen Paschal and music by the dynamic Jamie Lula. Jami will be joined by Cheryl Hiraoka, Susan Gilbertson and Freddy Rodriquez Jr.

The movie this month Into Great Silence

German filmmaker Philip Gröning gets unprecedented permission from the Carthusian order in the French Alps to film this amazing documentary about their spiritual practices.  Without crew or artificial lighting, Gröning lived in the monks quarters for six months filming their daily prayers, tasks, rituals and rare outdoor excursions. This transcendent, closely observed film seeks to embody a monastery, rather than simply depict one it has no score, no voiceover and no archival footage. What remains is stunningly elemental: time, space and light and becomes one of the most mesmerizing and poetic chronicles of spirituality ever created.  More meditation than documentary, it's a rare, transformative experience for all.  The Boston Globe describes it as "One of the transporting film experiences of this or any other year."

Sunday October 19 Adventure in Faith Home Study Groups Begin

You Are Pre-Approved is the theme for this year’s 6 week Adventure in Faith series.  Sign up begins September 21 to join one of our home study groups.  This is a powerful time to go deeper with Rev Karen’s messages as each week you will meet with your group and facilitator to discuss the message.

The curriculum of You Are Pre-Approved is designed to re-ignite your playful and curious nature—the child within that is connected with Spirit and reminds you of  the gifts that you already have.

Rev Karen’s Sunday message will address the topic of the week and in the supportive environment of the small groups, you will not only have the opportunity to make new friends but to also explore the “magic and possibilities that show up when you begin believing that anything is possible.”
