What is a Practitioner? | Affirmative Prayer Samples

These words of our founder, Dr. Ernest Holmes, remind us of the constancy and availability of a Presence which lovingly supports the revealing of vibrant health, flowing prosperity, loving relationships and creative expression in our lives.
Purpose & Mission
The New Dawn Center for Spiritual Living Prayer Ministry is comprised of dedicated individuals who have committed themselves to a way of life that is cultivated in a daily spiritual practice of affirmative prayer, meditation and compassionate service. They continually affirm that there is oneness in all life. This is their mission and calling. A practitioner guides an individual in exploring spiritual principles and in knowing only wholeness.
About Us
We know that with God all things are possible. Therefore, whatever the problem, there is always an answer. When a problem defies our imagination, when we cannot see what went wrong, when we are willing to be healed of that within us which brought the situation about, a Practitioner can help. A Practitioner uses his/her own mind to get clear about you and your desire, so that the One Mind in which we all live and move and have our being, will work positively in your life.
Affirmative Prayer
Affirmative prayer is one of the most important spiritual tools taught by Centers for Spiritual Living. We teach the art, science, and skill of Affirmative Prayer and have trained Practitioners, who are available to pray with you or for you.
You may use Affirmative Prayer to help transform your own life, that of a child or young person, a family member, or anyone else in need.

Affirmative Prayer is a simple process. It requires the persistence to think in ways that will naturally and lawfully, create what we desire. It's praying the way Jesus of Nazareth prayed; it's praying as the Buddha prayed. It's using the spiritual laws of this Universe to manifest the experience we desire in our lives. Once you know more about these Universal Laws, it's simple to practice using them. And they can be summed up with the phrase “It is done unto you as you believe.”

Senior Minister & Spiritual Director
Karen Paschal is the Senior Minister and Spiritual Director of New Dawn Center for Spiritual Living. She has been described as a visionary, idealist and powerful leader who has led New Dawn Center for Spiritual Living to be a “beacon of hope” not only in the community, but in the world. Through her dedication and commitment to make a difference, the church outreach programs give ongoing support to Gateway Battered Women’s Shelter, Community of Faith projects, and contributes filled backpacks to the children at Crawford Elementary annually.
