Ministers
 Reverend Karen Paschal
Karen Paschal is the Senior Minister and Spiritual Director of New Dawn Church. She has been described as a visionary, idealist and powerful leader who has led New Dawn Church to be a “beacon of hope” not only in the community, but in the world. Through her dedication and commitment to make a difference, the church outreach programs give ongoing support to Gateway Battered Women’s Shelter, Community of Faith projects, and contributes filled backpacks to the children at Crawford Elementary annually.
  Reverend Lisa Bair
Lisa Bair has served as the Family and Youth minister at New Dawn Church since January of 2004. Lisa is steeped in the philosophy of New Thought as she attended Unity and Religious Science churches as a youth. Lisa became a licensed Practitioner in 1994 and later completed Holmes Institute in 2002 with her ministerial degree. Lisa loves her ministry and acknowledges that she learns so much from the beautiful children whom she serves.
Reverend Mark Gilbert
Mark Gilbert has served as staff minister for New Dawn Church since September 2007. He has been instrumental in the development of the Men’s Ministry at New Dawn, teaches classes, assists with Sunday services, works with church marketing, developing partnerships with other communties and a lot more. Mark has been a licensed Practitioner since 2003 and graduated from Holmes Institute in 2007. He served for several years in the leadership core of the mens ministry at Mile Hi Church.
Practitioners
It is traditional in Religious Science to refer to practitioners as "the healing arm of the church." Their charge is to recognize the presence of Spirit in all people and all things through affirmative prayer.
Practitioners are available by appointment on a fee basis to assist you if there is a challenge in your life. The practitioner list is available here.
These practitioners also serve New Dawn by being available each Sunday following the service to do individual prayer (without charge); the practitioner serving that Sunday also holds the consciousness for the service.
Practitioners also receive prayer request via email or in writing. There is no charge for this but donations are welcomed and appreciated to help cover the costs. To submit an email prayer request, click here. You can fill out a written request for prayer whenever you have a need and drop it in the collection box each Sunday. These are prayed upon by the practitioners for thirty days.
